Coldharbour Marine on Schedule

Coldharbour Marine on schedule to complete the IMO G8 tests for its revolutionary in-tank, in-voyage IGG based Ballast Water Treatment (BWT) system during 2012.

The BWT system, designed specifically for large tanker, bulker LNG/LPG carrier applications has already successfully completed many of the required land based tests under the watchful eye of UK MCA / Lloyds Register and NIOZ.

2012 will see the completion of the land testing and also the final on ship tests required by the G8 testing protocols.
The on ship tests are to be carried out on board a 300,000 dwt VLCC type vessel.
