Coldharbour in tank Gas Lift Diffusion (GLD) technology uses no moving parts and as such is 100% reliable. The GLDs use natural fluid dynamics to both stir the ballast tanks and infuse the inert gas into the water. It is able to cope with any depth of ballast fill within the tank and any silts or sediments which enter the ballast tank will not affect GLD operation.
